Degrowth Vienna is a collective of activists, young scientists, organizers and experts active in Vienna (Austria) and beyond. The aim of Degrowth Vienna as a collective is to bring the degrowth perspective into the political and social discourse around answers to the manifold crises in international academic discourses, political spaces and organizations/institutions in Vienna. In addition, we promote the examination of the role of strategy within the scientific and activist discourse on degrowth and socio-ecological transformation in a broader sense. We organize workshops and events, give lectures, participate in discussions as panel members, publish educational material and statements and have published a book 'Degrowth & Strategy'.
