An idea conceived 12 years ago A dream nurtured over the years to provide exceptional taste in clothing and accessories for the modern day gentleman and lady of charm. Deji Eniola was brought to fruition in 2011. Our first stint at limelight was in 2012 with our participation in the MULTICHOICE DSTV fashion protégé competition where the brand came up fifth in the semi-finals, a competition that called designers from all over Nigeria, West Africa. We had our debut runway show in 2015, on the platform of Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week in Lagos, Nigeria. We made the top 16 finalists culled from a selection that cut across the whole of Africa and beyond. Our debut show Titled “Afropolitan Dandy” was rightly so, an apt representation of the ethos of the Deji Eniola brand; a sartorial culture synonymous with Africa and admired by the world. We pride ourselves in our African heritage which is always reflected in the opulent and successful lifestyle the brand stands for and the clothing it churns out. Our design aesthetic of “understated elegance” stems from our belief and conviction that the best work of arts in any field are the ones that do have something beautiful to discover at every closer look. We love the idea of “beauty seeping from underneath the skin”. Our designs are innovations within the realms and borders of classicism, this makes our pieces timeless and informs a rich style that transcends time.
