Delebarnets Vilkår is an association dedicated to promoting the right of shared children to family life throughout their upbringing in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. According to recent research, shared children do best over time when they are guaranteed the right to family life in the form of good, stable and comprehensive contact with both parents and the network they represent. According to recent research, equal sharing arrangements constitute a security factor that more than compensates for risk factors such as the parents' conflict and cooperation problems in connection with a break-up. The Delebarnets Vilkår works to ensure that children are not politically turned into objects that distort parents' rights and grant privileges that can create conflict over the shared child and ultimately limit their access to a parent and thus cut them off from the right to family life. Delebarnets Vilkår works to ensure children's meeting with the family legal system, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which supports the possibility of letting the child's views come forward, but in a way that takes into account the child's difficult situation and without leaving the responsibility for life-intervening decisions to the child. Delebarnets Vilkår focuses on sharing children who are exposed to the Danish family law system coming out well on the other side. We believe that the area of family law in no way ensures protection for either the shared child or the families, which can have extensive negative effects on both well-being and perceived quality of life, but also has significant socio-economic costs. Delebarnet's Terms are based on recent recognized (peer reviewed) research, solid insight into how other countries set up legislation and family law systems, knowledge of how politics in other countries have approached the area or are in the process of doing so.
