However, the quality of milk is far from satisfactory. This is evident from the media reports as well as from the report of the survey done by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). Milk is being adulterated with various chemicals to fraudulently increase its solids-not-fat (SNF) content as well as its fat content. Efforts have been made in the past for developing rapid tests for the detection of various adulterants in milk. These tests are liquid (chemical) based tests which need special care and lab set-up while performing. So we thought why not develop a product which can be performed by anyone, a product which do not need any lab set-up or expertise to perform. So we came up with a revolutionary product to detect adulteration in milk and milk products. We have developed strip based tests for the detection of various adulterants in milk. With this product we want to empower common man with a tool to check adulteration in milk even at household level. Our product are such that anyone could use it anywhere. It doesn't need testing skills or chemicals or equipments to perform tests. It can be implemented at village level or dairy farm or Factory and even at household level.
