About Delta ENIGMA
Delta ENIGMA will turn the Dutch delta into a world-leading ‘supersite’ for research on delta biogeomorphology under climate change. We aim at bringing biogeomorphology research in the Netherlands to the next level, by establishing a unique distributed infrastructure to understand how the physical processes (organisms, currents, waves, winds and sediment load) together shape the delta landscape, including during extreme events. Delta ENIGMA consists of five work packages with observational/experimental components, supported by three supporting work packages for data handling, enhancement of interactive knowledge and coordination.
