Delta Phi Epsilon is a professional sorority dedicated to promoting women in international affairs. Delta Phi Epsilon aims for intellectual education that will facilitate growth and encourage women to pursue careers in international relations. By this we are not merely referring to the Foreign Service but extending the definition to include careers in diplomacy, banking, education, consulting, journalism, non-governmental organizations, inter-governmental organizations, multi-national corporations, law, and much more. The Alpha Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority was founded at Georgetown University in 1973. The sorority has inducted notable sisters including former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.
