DemNet Hungary (Foundation for Development of Democratic Rights)

DemNet’s vision is a more just, more equal, and more sustainable world based on a universal respect for human rights. Our primary objective is to promote sustainable development and global solidarity by fostering cross-sectoral dialogue, nurturing systemic change, and empowering local actors. Founded in 1996, DemNet Hungary is one of the leading development NGOs in Hungary. By managing projects in Hungary and in various developing countries, DemNet’s aim is to build trust towards civil society, to activate and connect different members of civil society with other sectors, and to raise awareness on human rights in all sectors. DemNet designs activities based on its core values: transparency, social and economic justice, innovation, and participatory approach.
