The English Pub - You'll Never Walk Alone

The English Pub - "You'll Never Walk Alone" was started up in the heart of Kolding in December 1990 as an attempt to create an authentic ENGLISH pub with an authentic atmosphere as opposed to so many others in this country who seemed to think that by hanging a Union Jack in the window they had found an alternative to traditional Danish beer taverns. Today the pub is renowned throughout the country, nor least thanks to its unique selection of beers and for its exciting food menus. Two function rooms allow us to cater for all types of parties and reunions. We pride ourselves on being vastly different from run-of-the-mill bars by trying to fill each week with a varied selection of activities from quizzes to Open Mic evenings, from interesting tastings to beery themed days such as our highly succesful "Beer & Cheese" event. The majority of our more than 250 beers are imported by ourselves - along with a range of spirits such as gins from The Lakes in Cumbria - and are only to be found here at YNWA. The owner Torben Mathews is well known throughout Denmark for his unique ethnic beer tastings where relatively unknown beers from all over the world are accompanied by his distinctive mix of English and Danish humour.
