Denksamen believes that everyone should have access to a place they can feel at home. A place where they feel safe and belong to a community. Being part of the community is being part of a village creating purpose and meaning to their lives. We want to challenge the status quo in the way we approach urban design, developments and traditional methods of building.
Our vision is to create more Urban Villages, characterised by medium density housing mixed use zoning, good public transit and an emphasis on pedestrianisation and public spaces that accommodate sports, recreation and shared hobbies. We want people to feel connected to their community villages and be part of a ground up design.
Our mission is to challenge normal ways of thinking and doing! We will embrace a way of existing with and in our environments, seeing the opportunities in the human way of BEING and CONNECTION to ones place. We will integrate people and the environment in a way it has always been intended, a connection between soul of place and soul of heart.
We will bring our experiences and expertise from Europe and show a way of solving complex problems with a multi focus lens. CONNECTION, COMMUNITY and COMMITMENT is for us the main input to the design & development process.
The housing crisis is not just a crisis involving housing it extends beyond that simplicity. We will inspire people to move beyond the status quo and challenge the barriers that keep us stagnate.
