Our services combat the effects of poverty and violence by helping clients and their children meet basic human needs for safety, income, health and housing. De Novo draws on the expertise of 140 dedicated volunteer attorneys, clinical social workers, psychologists, paralegals, interpreters, student interns, and other professionals to provide cost-effective services that serve our community’s most vulnerable members. We provide legal help in the areas of housing/homelessness prevention, child custody and domestic violence, immigrant and refugee rights, and disability benefits, as well as a full range of mental health and case management services to help clients cope with the emotional impact of trauma.
