The Denton Animal Support Foundation (DASF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reducing pet homelessness and supporting pet owners in Denton County, TX. Through a variety of community-driven initiatives, we focus on preventing pet surrenders, promoting responsible pet ownership, and improving animal welfare.
What We Do:
🐾 Adoption Subsidy Grants – Helping harder-to-place shelter pets find loving homes by reducing adoption fees.
🐾 Emergency Pet Food Pantry – Providing food to over 600 pets monthly, ensuring families in need can keep their beloved companions.
🐾 Low-Cost & Free Veterinary Care Assistance – Sponsoring free rabies vaccinations, offering discounted vaccine clinics, and funding spay/neuter services to reduce pet overpopulation.
🐾 Community Pet Support – Assisting pet owners facing financial hardships, including those who are homeless, elderly, disabled, or veterans.
