DEPI Space

DEPI Space is a pioneering Hub of Space Technology Research & Development in developing countries, currently operating in Armenia. The idea of DEPI Space Hub was born in 2021 out of a shared vision: to bring Armenia back into the conversation of space exploration, to connect local talent with international research, and to ensure that Armenian innovation contributes to global advancements in space science and technology. Through international partnerships, research initiatives, and educational programs, our goal is to inspire and educate the next generation of Armenian space scientists, engineers and individuals who are passionate about space. By this we are not just building a hub;we are creating a platform for long-term collaboration and impact. Our founding members have strong academic and research backgrounds in space exploration and are dedicated to elevating Armenia’s presence in international space initiatives. DEPI Space serves as Armenia’s first official representative and national point of contact for the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), bridging Armenia with global space organizations, the United Nations Programme on Space Applications, and leading research institutions. Our members played a key role in organizing Armenia’s participation in the Austrian Space Forum’s Mars analog mission (AMADEE-24). Through these collaborations, we are not only positioning Armenia within the global space community but also creating opportunities for the next generation of space researchers and innovators.
