Deployed project

The DEPLOYED project unites researchers from geoinformatics, remote sensing, cartography, and agricultural science to investigate archaeological landscapes in controlled, simulated environments. Hosted by the Cyprus University of Technology, the collaboration spans the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics and the Department of Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology, and Food Science. Through interdisciplinary synergy, the project aims to provide new insights into the formation of cropmarks, enhancing our ability to detect and study archaeological sites using advanced geospatial techniques. Each Principal Investigator (PI) will play a critical role, contributing expertise that fosters innovation in heritage research.
