Deposit Easy is a purpose built lending platform designed to help financially capable Australians overcome the most significant barrier to homeownership: the upfront property deposit. Our core product, the Standard Variable Rate Deposit Loan, enables eligible borrowers to finance up to 20 percent of a property's purchase price without needing to contribute any upfront cash deposit or pay Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI). When combined with a conventional 80 percent mortgage from another lender, borrowers can finance up to 100 percent of the purchase price, making full ownership more attainable without compromising liquidity. This offering is tailored to high income professionals, investors, and financially stable individuals who are often excluded from government initiatives such as the First Home Guarantee due to income thresholds. Many of these borrowers have the capacity to service a mortgage but prefer to retain their capital for other uses be it investment, business growth, or personal security. Deposit Easy allows them to do exactly that, without the added cost burden of LMI. Borrowers benefit from a split loan structure that allows them to prioritise repayment of the higher interest 20 percent loan, effectively reducing interest paid over the life of the loan. They also have the ability to make unlimited additional repayments without penalties. A key differentiator is that 20 percent of their repayments are allocated to a low-volatility hedge fund, with 50 percent of any profits returned to the borrower as a rebate. This creates both long-term borrower value and a sustainable revenue model.
