Development and Environment Research Center (DERC)

DERC specializes in the field of Capacity building of CSOs, Advocacy, Media and Research, and has been working in the field to ensure complete social security by spreading awareness and working on the human and environmental issues that create a barrier to achieving social security. Since its inception, it has initiated many awareness programs to create awareness at both the national and international levels. It is registered as private limited company with Government of Nepal, Company Registrar Office at Kathmandu. It emphasizes on working together for sustainable society in partnership with other organizations. As it is an institution working with a concept of private consulting organization consisting of professionals working in the field of media, technology, environment especially disaster and climate change and social services, DERC aims to provide cost effective services for training, research and media services. It works both on organizational level projects/programs (work for our own vision and mission) and consulting opportunities (working for other institutions). It is composed of a team of dedicated professionals specialized in research, advocacy, environmental assessment, marketing, communication and media services.
