Derech ruach

Founded in August 2011, "Derech Ruach" is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the study of the humanities in Israel, and to integrating them in educational, social, economic and political spheres. We are convinced that without such integration, the intellectual, cultural and moral quality of these spheres suffers. Moreover, the study of the humanities makes a positive contribution to changing working environments, which demand new ways of thinking and innovative solutions (see Appendix A) and supports our culture, humanistic views and more. Our Mission Our mission is to advance, cultivate and promote the humanities in Israel, integrating them with other disciplines and occupations in order to maximize human potential that will enrich and strengthen the social, cultural, financial, governmental and political arenas, which are the necessary foundation for achieving a prosperous Israel. Our Goals 1. To expand, deepen and sustain the intellectual and cultural infrastructure. 2. To enhance and develop management and leadership skills in social, business, governmental and political systems. 3. To incorporate graduates in humanities in the workforce and in social and political spheres as an empowering and enriching component for the society and our graduates. 4. To develop a network of connections and co-operation between the humanities and others academic fields.
