Derek Young & Co is a firm of fully qualified Chartered Accountants which was founded in 1960 by Derek Young upon the traditional values of fairness, honesty, reliability and sound, sensible 'down to earth' business advice. The practice has lead the way throughout its 5 decades by maintaining these core values and by constantly embracing new technologies in order to maximise efficiency and to minimise its fees. Derek Young & Co was one of the first firms in the world to utilise 'Accounts Production' software in the 1970s and has continued to optimise efficiency with Cloud-based versions of this software such as Xero, and we are Xero Certified Partners. The business has seen significant grown in each of its 5 decades due to the many recommendations from exisiting clients, and is currently one of the largest firms in the area. The 3 partners and numerous members of the Derek Young & Co team together have over 3 centuries of directly relevant experience working at the firm.
