Dermanaut is a web-based application allowing dermatologists to accurately and effectively record patient exams as they happen, replacing the need for troublesome paper charts. Our patent pending historic visual record saves physicians time, increases record accuracy, and improves the quality of care patients receive. This system, described as GoogleMaps for the skin, allows dermatologists to record and review patient problems and treatments on a body diagram. Additionally, Dermanaut allows offices to record the most common diagnoses and treatments with the single click of a button. Not only will this increase the speed with which an exam is recorded, but it will also improve record accuracy, utilizing industry standardized terminology.
The Company
Dermanaut is a Michigan LLC established in November 2006. Dedicated to growing the knowledge economy in Michigan, Dermanaut has created 4 new jobs this year and over the next 4 years plans to create another 60 from sales to software engineers. The majority of these positions will be based in Dermanautʼs Detroit headquarters (currently in TechTown).
