Merriam-Webster defines “derring-do” as brave acts or something of courage. It is the ethos we live by and the type of work you can count on: brave, bold and groundbreaking. Derring-Do is a communications agency focused in the real estate and lifestyle industries, founded by experienced communications leader Jesse Kent. He started at a small PR & management company representing three “Million Dollar Listing” clients including Ryan Serhant of NYC, Chris Leavitt of Miami, and Roh Habibi of San Francisco. Then, he was recruited to run in-house communications for Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the #3 residential brokerage in the United States. While there, Jesse was responsible for PR for the Northeast Region’s 4,500+ agents and nabbed more stories faster than the company ever had previously. After Douglas Elliman, Jesse led communications for real estate startup Triplemint, driving over 500 press hits in one year.
