"The Association shall pursue the following goals: to boost, strengthen and contribute to the organization of the works of citizens of Puerto Casado and surrounding areas, facilitating jobs, social assistance and improving their quality of life; to boost, strengthen and contribute to the organization of the conservation and rational management of Alto Paraguay's ecosystems, especially in regard to endangered ecosystems or those which are likely to sustain damages; to hold meetings on a regular basis in the area in order to collaborate in the progress of the area, bringing reserachers and institutions which will exchange experiences and results; to establish relationships with similar foundations, both national and international; to work as a body that gives its opinions and provides counseling to individuals and public and private institutions in respect to equitable development in the northern area of the country; also in regard to ecosystem management, especially when it comes to its social use; to foster both education and training of middle-ranking officers, labor training and technical preparation to have access to a decent job in the area; and especially, to create a concept of the word 'collaboration' as a consideration from the beneficiary so as to strengthen the social networks and the citizens' responsible integration. The Association may perform any commercial, industrial, agricultural stockbreeding, productive, inancial and export-import activities for the purposes of fulfilling these goals, as well as any other lawful activity. It is hereby stated that the Association by performing said actions, does not pursue any monetary gain whatsoever. In addition, said actions are not performed in order for partners to profit."
