Our Palm Strand Boards (PSBs), popularly known as Desert Boards, are the first and only engineered boards made from dry and dead leaves of the date palm tree, which grows in the desert. These PSBs are not just crafted; they are 'ENGINEERED WITH EXCELLENCE' and hence can be a much superior alternative to all kinds of boards and even wood to a certain extent with their 100% natural, sustainable, environment-friendly, and recyclable properties along with their quality parameters of highest standards. PSBs have Zero Formaldehyde (Zero Emissions), Fire and Moisture Resistance, Natural Termite Resistance, Heat and Sound Insulation, and High Load-Bearing Capacity. Mission The construction industry significantly contributes to global CO2 emissions, accounting for between 25% and 40% of the total. By upcycling palm waste, often burned or buried, we produce locally manufactured bio-based, formaldehyde-free, durable palm strand boards, PSB, without the need to fell trees. These boards can further be recycled at the end of their life span. Our patented technology at Desert Board allows us to establish a circular economy meeting our goal to support environmental preservation efforts and uphold global sustainability agreements to help protect our planet for future generations, whilst facilitating healthier structures.
