Santa Fe Desert Chorale

The Santa Fe Desert Chorale is one of the nation’s leading professional chamber choirs. Scott Cantrell of the Dallas Morning News remarked that, “The Santa Fe Desert Chorale [is] a top-notch, 24-voice group… comprising the crème de la crème of professional choral singers from coast to coast…” These virtuosic artists gather together in Santa Fe to perform multiple concert programs in July and August, along with beloved holiday concerts throughout December. Artistic Director Joshua Habermann leads the Desert Chorale in repertoire spanning seven centuries, from early polyphony to contemporary choral works, including a brand new commissioned piece each year. Performing for over 40 years, the Desert Chorale Summer Festival season has become a centerpiece of the cultural life of Santa Fe and is among the nation’s most significant choral events.
