We offer high-quality authentic products through a traceability approach with a focus on transparency, clean labeling, sustainability, philanthropy, and better customer experience. The mission is to improve the customer health and food choices for our Desi community through our Desi Hands mission (Philanthropy) to improve the lives of underprivileged kids back home. We do not compromise on the quality of products. Our Food Safety and Quality Assurance team checks all product for authenticity and quality standards before they make it to our shelves. Our suppliers are widely accredited by ISO 90001, FSSC 22000, and BRC certification systems which are widely recognized for food safety and quality standards in Europe, the US, and other countries. Dr. Preeti and Dr. Ali Abas Wani after migrating from India face shopping difficulties (expired products, delays in delivery, poor product quality, poor hygiene in stores, food adulteration, and food fraud) which they believe are serious issues for consumer health. Therefore, they decided to step in and build a transparent grocery store that offers transparency and high-quality products with a good customer experience for our community. Therefore, at Desi Fresh our focus is on quality and transparency to prevent food fraud, mislabeling, clean labeling, and to introduce new products that promote health and wellness. With a mission of giving back, we share 2.5% of our profits with the underprivileged kids in the areas of education, improving lives, health & food to our communities.
