Desi-Gned

desi-gned is New England ‘s first publication for the South Asian diaspora. Born at Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design, the publication focuses on South Asian culture, design, and art, with the aim to bring untold stories from the subcontinent in the context of living in the colonial world here in the northeast. It has a projected readership of 4000+ with 1200+ copies of the first and second issues in circulation. desi-gned is housed in several major library collections across the country ranging from the Thomas J. Watson Library at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Cooper Hewitt Design Museum Library, The Joh Hay Library Collection, The Fleet Library Collection, and many more.
