Design and Technology Lab

The Design & Technology Lab of the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and ETH Zurich is dedicated to bringing together talented students of the disciplines of design and engineering to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to real-world problems. As part of their final thesis, the students work in pairs over the course of a semester on a specific issue relevant to start-ups, NGOs, industrial companies or research partners . The interdisciplinary nature of this collaboration, intensive engagement and new approaches offer great potential for innovative and profound results which focus on the user.
