DESIGN WILD is transforming the city one green space at a time. We are a collaborative landscape design firm, inspired by the magic of plants and the power of effective design. Our residential gardens, community projects, public green spaces and urban farms bring the wild beauty of nature into designs that soften the city, improve ecosystems and inspire peace of mind for our clients and communities. Though our projects vary from private backyards to public parks and sustainable agriculture, our focus remains the same: creating vibrant, sustainable and functional green spaces everyone can enjoy. We’re as comfortable designing a private rooftop as we are working with neighborhood groups to facilitate the design and creation of a community space. Our name is inspired by what Christopher Alexander describes as “the quality of wilderness, tamed, still wild, but cultivated enough to be in harmony with the buildings which surround it and the people who move it.” We love making gardens that bring the wild beauty of nature into designs that soften the city, bring peacefulness to the mind and inspire wonder. Design Wild brings the beauty of the natural world into the urban environment through untamed but intentional design.
