Design & Analysis Ltd. provides Engineering design development services. Located in Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands, we operate worldwide with recent contracts with companies in the UK, Europe, USA and Australia providing a service for manufacturers and industrial clients needing specialist engineering services. We work for major blue chip companies right down to small consultancies and industry suppliers. Some notable end clients include Bombardier Transportation, BAE Systems, Jaguar Land Rover, Hitachi Transport and JLG. With over 60 years of combined experience in design and analysis projects, the skills at Design & Analysis have been applied across many industry sectors including; rail, automotive, military, power generation, medical, civil and consumer product companies. The company has been trading since 2003 and has gone from strength to strength since its initial inception. Over the years that the Design & Analysis has been trading they have invested heavily in market leading CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) tools and are experts in the use of the following software: • Siemens NX Products • Altair HyperWorks Suite • SolidWorks Premium Suite NX provides 3D solid modelling CAD, and 2D drafting facilities with a fully integrated and powerful Finite Element Analysis (FEA) capability using NX Nastran as its solver. Altair HyperWorks is the name given to one of the world’s leading suite of engineering analysis tools and forms the back bone to Design & Analysis’ analysis capabilities. Altair HyperWorks, includes HyperMesh for generating Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models with Optistruct and RADIOSS as solvers. It also includes AcuSolve which is a market lead Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) package. SolidWorks Premium provides industry standard CAD capabilities combined with an integrated ADAMS kinematic solver and FEA capability.
