Designers' Consortium

Designers' Consortium (DC) is the official product design and innovation club of NIT Trichy, uniting a diverse group of over 40 passionate engineers from various disciplines. Founded in 2015, DC is dedicated to solving real-world challenges through technical product design, focusing on sectors like industry, healthcare, agriculture, energy, and the environment. At DC, we transform ideas into impactful solutions, championing innovation and sustainable development. Our members have collectively worked on more than 30 projects, participated in national and international competitions, and published research in reputed conferences. Notable initiatives include the development of semi-automated wind blade maintenance systems, underwater cleaning robots, and patented security mechanisms. We also actively collaborate with NIT Trichy alumni and mentor school students to foster innovation at every level.
