At the heart of Deteks, there is a partnership that started its activities in the production, sales and representation of textile auxiliary materials dating back to 1960. After this partnership included leather auxiliary materials in the scope of its production, it adopted "Deteks", which is formed by the combination of the first syllables of the words "Leather" and "Textile", as the company name, and received the title of Deteks Collective Company in 1963. The company, which produces in its own facilities in Tuzla, transformed into Deteks Kimya Sanayi A.Ş. with a new legal and financial status in 1966.
