Digital Economy and Technology General Division (DETGD) a Government organization serve the Egyptian ICT industry in founded in 2001 by the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) What we Serve: 1) Training and Mentorship Since its inception, DETGD trained nearly 2000 entrepreneurs and their employees which invested in over 150 Egyptian ICT companies nation wide. 2) Linking We link our members companies to the largest local companies and multinationals. 3) Attract Investments We attract investments to ICT sector and support our members to showcase their innovations and products through summits and conferences such as: • Tech Invest: Egyptian technology summit hold by DETGD yearly in Cairo to link investors with more than 250 High Tech Companies from different governorates. • Techne Summit: Techne Summit is an international technology entrepreneurship event that acts as a platform including the main global players in the technology industry. 4) Go Global We push our members to go globally, to attract the international investors and clients. Global shows like CES and WebSummit. CES is the world's gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. CES 2019 that will take place in the United States of America between 8-11 January 2019. DETGD offers 10 Egyptian startups the chance to exhibit there every year with the support of ITIDA and TIEC. 5) Promoting the concept of open innovation to use technology for increasing the competitive of different economic sector. 6) Stimulus local demand through initiatives. 7) Access to finance
