Hi, we're Detoure - a resale marketplace that sources highly curated clothing from influencers and tastemakers, giving customers access to the most coveted closets in the world at thrift prices. We’re creating a secondhand revolution. We got tired of scrolling through pages of unstylish secondhand clothes and receiving clothes with no quality checks, so we dreamed of something better. We’re on a mission to create the world’s most curated and stylish secondhand store by working with top influencers. Here, instead of buying something brand new after seeing it on Instagram, a customer can buy the exact outfit secondhand, right off their favorite influencer’s back. Keeping clothes out of the landfill and keeping the most stylish clothes available for purchase. Our aim is to create a place to shop second hand directly from the style icons you already trust (influencers) and to provide a way for influencers to quickly capitalize on their most valuable asset (their closet) without having to spend valuable time building and maintaining a shop on other platforms. Americans throw away over 16 million tons of textiles a year. Over 95% of the clothing thrown away in the US can be recycled or reused, but sadly more than 85% ends up in landfills. Fashion moves fast. And influencers are constantly buying new items to keep up with the trends of the day. The result: a closet full of clothes that might never be worn again. That’s a lot of waste and a lot of untapped value just hanging there. By sourcing our clothes from trusted influencers, we’re creating a shortcut - everything on our site is curated by people who do it for a living, saving you time and saving energy searching for items you’d actually wear. Plus we're saving the planet in the meantime! We do all the work to photograph, sell and ship the influencers secondhand clothes.
