Die Deutsche Transplantationsgesellschaft (DTG) ist eine wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft mit Mitgliedern der Fachgebiete Chirurgie, Innere Medizin, Urologie, Anästhesie, Immunologie, Transplantationskoordinatoren und anderen Personen aus dem Bereich der Transplantationsmedizin. Die DTG stellt die Verbindung her zur Deutschen Stiftung Organtransplantation (DSO) - verantwortlich für die Organspende -, zu Eurotransplant (ET) - verantwortlich für die Organvermittlung -, zur Bundesärztekammer, zu Patientenverbänden sowie zu vielen internationalen Fachgesellschaften.
