Develop Tioga

Develop Tioga is a certified economic development organization serving Tioga County, PA; dedicated to enhancing business and community resources and opportunities for those who live, work, travel, and do business in Tioga County. We work with a broad spectrum of partners to promote business attraction, retention, and expansion; fiscal sustainability; workforce development and talent attraction; business promotion and marketing; leadership development; support local initiatives and community enhancements. Monthly Tioga County Business Resource Alliance meetings are hosted to enhance efforts. Participants include local and regional partners, and staff of elected officials. We provide confidential consultations and business resource sessions to all interested in doing business in Tioga County. Includes pre-venture, start-up, expansion, fiscal management, workforce, marketing and additional needs. Over 300 sessions are provided each year. Provide assistance to businesses, non-profits, and municipalities seeking fiscal resources. In the last year, over $3,000,000 in grants and $400,000 in loans were successfully awarded. Oversight of Redevelopment and Capital Assistance Program grants. RACP projects are multi-million-dollar efforts to enhance Tioga County. Projects include clean-up of the former Westfield Tannery property, broadband expansion, and a community health care facility. Collaborating with ACT, BLaST IU 17, school districts, employers, and StartSole to launch TiogaWORKS. Obtained PA Smart grant bringing $500,000 to Tioga County to support technical and career training.
