Development for All(DFA)

Development for All (DFA) is a legally registered local civil society organisation (CSO) operating in Ethiopia since 2016 as a not-for-profit and non-governmental civil society organisation with a registration number 1036. It was re-registered again in May 2019 as per the new civil society proclamation (#1113/2019) of the country. DFA is a nationally registered CSO entitled to operate across all regions of Ethiopia. The very cause for the formation of DfA is the persisting marginalization, socio-economic injustice and human rights violation of ethnic minorities in Ethiopia. DfA was found and led by ethnic minorities who passed through the pains of entrenched marginalisation and socio-economic injustice and committed to end such injustice and ensure development for all. This is where the name ‘Development for All” came from.
