Devices for Students

Together, we can flatten the learning curve. Devices for Students was inspired by the sweeping changes Covid-19 made to our education system in California. Access to remote learning is no longer a luxury, it is now a necessity for K-12 students to transition to next grade level, graduate high school, or get into college. One million California public school children do not have access to the internet at home. Our mission is to bridge that gap by providing laptops, tablets, and reliable WiFi access to the students who need them most. Devices for Students consists entirely of volunteers working on a pro-bono basis and has built an extensive partnership with school districts, corporations, and nonprofits to identify need, reduce device acquisition costs, streamline delivery, and provide the needed technical resources required for teachers and students to best optimize their transition to online classes.
