We specialise in advice, litigation and other means of dispute resolution (and avoidance) concerning commercial and residential property. The firm was formed in 1991 by Ron Hogan and John Cox. Before that they had both been members of the property litigation department of Nabarro Nathanson (now Nabarro) a well known City firm. Dewar Hogan has remained the only law firm in the UK to specialise exclusively in property litigation. It is recognised as one of the leading property litigation practices by Chambers' Guide to the UK Legal Profession.
In 1995 the firm was instrumental in forming the Property Litigation Association and Ron Hogan was the Association's first Chairman.
Since the firm was formed it has represented clients including property funds and companies, investments banks, retailers, private investors and developers and many individuals with property related problems, claims and opportunities.
