DEXCL is a private company specialising in dental health consulting services using teledentistry. Our vision is to achieve dental excellence through practice-based evidence public health research, and be the leader for innovation in dentistry. Our objectives are: · To promote oral health as being integral to general health and well-being; · To inspire and advance the art and science of teledentistry; · To promote oral health throughout the Australian community; · To engage in and publicise evidence-based public health research and innovation in oral health; · To enhance the education and clinical training of the oral health practitioners; · To advance, develop awareness of and recognition of the oral health professions of dental hygienists, dental therapists and oral health therapists; · To engage in national policy development on matters related to oral health; · To collaborate and affiliate with professional organisations; and · To pursue, undertake and and do all things necessary in the promotion of these objects, and the DEXCL vision.
