DFBY Foundation

DFBY Foundation is a registered non-profit organization working to empower rural communities in Bangladesh through disaster preparedness, healthcare access, education, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development. The organization envisions a resilient and equitable Bangladesh where communities can thrive, adapt to challenges, and embrace sustainable practices. Its mission focuses on strengthening community resilience by educating people on disaster preparedness, promoting environmental sustainability, and addressing key social issues like drug abuse and lack of healthcare. DFBY runs awareness programs to help youth avoid addiction and lead healthy lifestyles, while also working with healthcare providers to improve access to medical and mental health services in underserved rural areas. The foundation plays an active role in disaster response, mobilizing volunteers and supporting recovery efforts that create employment opportunities. It also works to mitigate climate change impacts by encouraging responsible waste management, water conservation, renewable energy use, and climate education. Through partnerships with local authorities, NGOs, and law enforcement, DFBY tackles drug trafficking and promotes safe, inclusive development. Its efforts are recognized nationally, including by the Department of Youth Development. DFBY is committed to building a stronger, sustainable future for all communities in Bangladesh.
