Dha3R NGO, a non-profit organization, leads a grassroots movement aimed at combating environmental pollution and enriching community life. We collaborate directly with local communities to enact tangible change. Aligned with the United Nations (UN) campaign for individual action on climate change and sustainability, Dha3R actively advocates for and supports this global initiative. The escalating scarcity of water poses a significant challenge in modern, rapidly growing cities. We strive to prevent the replication of situations like Bengaluru's water crisis in other urban areas. Lakes play a pivotal role in replenishing groundwater levels, moderating urban temperatures, and preserving ecological balance while fostering biodiversity. Our primary focus is on implementing GROUND LEVEL ACTION, fostering active engagement within local communities. Our core initiatives encompass: Participating in plogging sessions to cleanse lakes and communities, complemented by the creation of impactful litter letters through 'The Litter Letter Project'. Introducing various measures such as the installation of Floating islands, aerators, automated trash collectors, boom barriers, extensive tree plantations, and the initiation of pooja waste to compost projects at lakes to ensure their conservation and revitalization. Addressing environmental challenges while raising awareness about the importance of nature conservation and nurturing.
