Dhaara in Kannada means thread and that's literally what we hang on to. Every thread is important in a weave, to determine how the fabric feels once its woven. Journey began in 2003 by Arpana, a hand embroidery expert with teaching the art form and actually providing service only. In 2020, when the world went into a lockdown, this new venture began with adding textiles and a fully fledged team of artisans and weavers supporting her. Chaitra and Arpana began working towards creating some of the best products for women. Our speciality is Pure mulberry silk designer ilkal sarees, soft Mul cotton sarees, Handblockprinted soft cotton suit set fabrics and size inclusive wrap around skirts, all sustainable & naturally dyed with natural ayurvedic herbs and ingredients
