The Dhaatu-Mitra Club is a technical club affiliated with NIT SRINAGAR's Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department. The club's goal is to raise awareness of the Metallurgy and Materials Engineering Department both on and off-campus. The inaugural event was attended by a number of notable figures, including Kushal Saha, the Secretary-General of the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM). The ceremony was made even more special by the presence of esteemed director Dr Rakesh, who congratulated the staff and students for this robust initiative.
