D+H Architects Inc.

D+H Architects Inc (formerly Dickinson + Hicks Architects Inc.) is a firm that specializes in the design of places of worship, seniors housing and schools. The firm also has experience designing recreational, commercial, and other institutional buildings. Dickinson + Hicks Architects Inc. became an incorporated partnership in 1994 (formerly Ivan G. Dickinson Architect 1980-1994) combining the skills of the principals whose experience totals more than 50 years. Ivan Dickinson and Mark Hicks have developed a diverse practice having gained experience through many types of projects with various client organizations. In 2008, Wesley Gowing joined the partnership to further enhance the depth of skills within the leadership. The firm's focus on institutional projects and assembly occupancies has produced a variety of church projects from around the province of Ontario and across Canada. Other projects have been located outside of Canada in places such as Chicago, Liberia, Niger, and Jamaica. The mission of Dickinson + Hicks Architects is to provide quality architectural services through the dedication and focused attention on each client's unique set of needs; to provide appropriate building design solutions resulting from a collaborative working relationship with the client; and, to exhibit professionalism, integrity, honesty, and fairness, guided by Christian principles, as we interact with all who are involved in each project.
