Our company dates back to the early fifties, when two well known Flemish weavers, the Dhooge brothers, immigrated to South Africa in 1950 and 1955.
In 1959 they established their own textile company, using their family’s expertise in the weaving industry to produce terry lustre towels.
Because of its extraordinary quality, the company grew exponentially and Dhooges Textiles expanded into all the stages of the weaving process.
