About Diagnostic Photonics
Diagnostic Photonics is a Chicago-based medical device company developing handheld, high-resolution imaging systems. The Foresee (4C)™ Imaging System provides a real time, detailed view into the structure of human tissue. We designed this handheld device to reinforce clinicians' confidence in their therapeutic plans. As of October 2016, the Foresee (4C)TM has been used in over 200 procedures. It is estimated that the device may be applicable in over 3 million procedures annually in the US and Europe. Clinicians have used the device in multiple single-site and multicenter clinical studies at prestigious sites in the US. Results from those studies have been presented at select medical conferences. We have collaborated with European experts regarding the current landscape for reimbursement. In the US, we have worked in concert with a leading private health insurer to model payer economic impact. In addition, new technology CPT® insurance coding (CAT III) has been established in the US for reimbursement.
