Diamond Leaf Publishing is a self-publishing imprint founded by Erica Mitchell and her husband, Richard Mitchell Jr. The name Diamond Leaf memorializes the year it was founded - 2019, The Mitchell's 10th (or "diamond") anniversary. Diamond Leaf also represents a deeper meaning. Diamonds would not exist without transformation. An unassuming rock must endure intense heat and pressure to transform into the world's most treasured gem. And autumn leaves give us an incredible display of beauty, but such beautiful foliage would not exist without a change in seasons and an appreciation for the cycle of life. In order to grow, we have to embrace the transformation and change that we witness with diamonds and leaves. And Diamond Leaf Publishing seeks to be a resource to help writers share the stories that promote growth and transformation.
