DiaperRecycle (Kelland Environmental Technology Pty Ltd)

Kelland Environmental Technology Pty Ltd (trading as DiaperRecycle) is an impact business working to decrease waste and climate changing emissions to ensure a better future for our planet. We do this by recycling used disposable nappies and continence aids into consumer products. We produce a highly absorbent cat litter and a reusable plastic. We collect used disposable nappies from households, childcare centres and aged care. These are taken to our recycling plant in metro-Melbourne where we recycle them into the cat litter and plastic in the circular economy. We developed the technology to recycle the waste and it is also available for licensing. Our next recycling plant will be in New South Wales, Australia. No one else in Australia is commercially recycling nappies, and there is no other cat litter made from used nappies/continence aids available globally.
