The word ‘Dibia’ loosely translates to ‘Healer’ in Igbo, one of the main languages spoken in Nigeria, Africa. In Igbo culture Dibia are diviners and traditional doctors, providing healing remedies and rituals for their people. In the past, western medicine has taught us to look at traditional/native medicine and natural remedies with suspicion so choosing to name our brand Dibia felt like a fitting way to honour and reclaim it.
Our aim is to help our customers feel confident in the skin they are in, with the help of our specially formulated skincare rituals. We make softer, more supple skin attainable, using our simple and effective blend of natural oils and butters. By sticking to only the most essential ingredients we want to show that healthy, glowing skin doesn’t have to be complicated or have a negative impact on our natural environment.
