DIG is a non-profit organization based in Modena (Italy) that supports watchdog journalism around the world and its role in preserving democracy and equality. Our motto is "I wanna be your watchdog".
DIG means “Documentari, Inchieste, Giornalismi” (Documentaries, Investigations, Journalism) and recalls the action of delving deeper into a story in order to uncover hidden truths: a tribute to the daily work of brave journalists and reporters around the world.
Since 11 years, we have been organizing DIG Festival, that has become an international point of reference for journalists devoted to investigations and reportage.
