The aim of the project is to empower current/aspiring artists (with a focus on those from vulnerable groups and women), through the development of digital skills. To achieve this, sets of general and specific objectives have been formulated, based on the Logical Framework Approach:
- Develop innovative materials for artists and adult educators
- Provide flexible, upskilling opportunities
- Promote artists’ entrepreneurship and employability
- Foster Intercultural dialogue and social inclusion
The primary target groups of the project are:
A) Current or aspiring artists and workers in the cultural sector, with a focus on those from vulnerable societal groups as well as women. As vulnerable societal groups, the consortium has indicatively identified: Migrants/refugees, long-term unemployed, low-qualified, individuals from remote, rural areas, members of the LGBTQI community, people with disabilities. Those will be the final beneficiaries of the project
B) Adult educators and non-formal education trainers, especially those working with vulnerable groups and on topics related to the arts or in the cultural sector.
Those groups will also benefit from the project results as a means to increase their capacities and provide additional tools in their daily practice.
The secondary target groups are:
- Adult education and non-formal education institutions, cultural associations, local authorities, art festivals and organisations active in social inclusion
- Policymakers and public authorities in the fields of art and culture and social inclusion
