Regroupant des universités, des centres de recherches, des entreprises et des ASBL dans le domaine du biocontrôle et du numérique, l'IIS – Initiative d'Innovation Stratégique – Digibiocontrol a pour objectif le renforcement de l’écosystème wallon du biocontrôle en interconnectant le monde du numérique et celui de la lutte biologique contre les prédateurs des plantes au travers de l’innovation/R&D, la formation et l’entreprenariat.
Les principaux axes de travail sont :
1. Le développement de solutions innovantes de biocontrôle ;
2. Le développement de solutions numériques et robotiques (produits et/ou services) permettant l’intégration efficace de ces solutions ;
3. La mise au point de nouvelles technologies pour l’observation des composantes de l’agro-système et la modélisation de leurs interactions ;
4. La mise au point et la validation de nouvelles pratiques agricoles intégrant ces innovations ;
5. La sensibilisation et la formation des acteurs du milieu agricole à ces nouvelles pratiques.
Bringing together universities, research centers, companies and non-profit organizations in the field of biocontrol and digital technology, the IIS – Strategic Innovation Initiatives – Digibiocontrol aims to strengthen the Walloon biocontrol ecosystem by interconnecting the world digital technology and that of the biological fight against plant predators through innovation/R&D, training and entrepreneurship.
